Here you go, my latest podcast! Sorry for the delay but I’ve been very busy with productions lately. I decided to focus more on making my own music rather then just deejaying.

This mix starts with a new special delivery from Pete Tong, his remix of one of the beautiful latest Hot Natured’s releases, ‘Assimilation’. As following track I played the booming David Penn’s remix of the deep house anthem ‘Hallelujah Anyway’, which is definitely a dancefloor killer. Then I dropped the new Flashmob’s tune, recently released on Defected Records and ‘Lady Of Time’ produced by the awesome Italian artist Ruben Mandolini.

Next you can listen to Marc Romboy & Kink’s Pump It!, an electronic tech-house track with a huge synth and a hypnotising vocal, then the new Mercury’s single and the latest release from Joris Voorn’s own label, Rejected.

I closed my mix with some fantastic records from artists like Eats Everything, Riva Starr, Audiowhores, Rachel Row and Justin Martin. I consider them really brilliant and innovative, especially ‘The Withywood Walk’.

Enjoy!

The first track has been produced by one of my favourite artists of the moment, Tapesh

As third I played another track from a breakthrough artist at the DJ Mag’s Best of British, Duke Dumont. His house flavoured track is embellished by the marvellous voice of A*M*E, a young talented London singer.

Then I played a new remix signed by Oliver $, the new DJ Chus’ record and the vigorous Pirupa’s on the Dutch label, Material.

Also, I dropped a fresh remake from well-known duo Supernova of one of their old tracks.

Next you can listen to one of my fav tracks so far made by the DC/Berlin duo Benoit & Sergio. They confirmed their excellent upper class style releasing an Ep on Jamie Jones’ famed Hot Creations.

The last tune is an acappella track which was originally printed only on vinyl on We Play House Recordings and has been now lincensed by Defected Records. It’ll be an Ibiza anthem of 2013 for sure.

Play it loud :-)

Despite their worldwide tour, Disclosure continue to produce music and as a matter of fact, the awaited follow-up of Disclosure’s smashing hit “Latch” is ready. After their powerful partnership with Sam Smith they have setup another great collaboration. Their partners in crime are the renowned AlunaGeorge. The duo was nomineed at the Brit Awards 2013 and their songs spread like a virus on radio and clubs.

Disclosure created some rumors today on Facebook posting Aluna’s picture with their mask, so everyone were waiting for something new. Zane Lowe played it on BBC Radio 1 this evening as a worldwide exclusive.

The brand new track is called “White Noise”.

Nothing but love for it! Thumbs up!

Freebie from Hot Natured!

Hot Natured is the legendary quartet composed by Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Luca C and Ali Love.

After the big success obtained with the astonishing “Benediction”, which was just a big anthem in Ibiza last summer and has been played by almost all the big deejays of the planet, they’re back again with a new topping tune and a debut live planned for the next months: a double gig at the O2 Academy London and one date at the renowned Sonar Festival in June.

“Assimilation” reflects their typical style: deep house flavours enriched with Ali’s mellow voice, some delicate strings and charming pad melodies.

They are giving it as a freebie for the launch of their new website: www.hotnatured.com

Another anthem from the Londoners?

I love the new Noir Music’s release! It comes from the well-known Italian producer, Dusty Kid.

He’s a production genious who can’t be catalogued under only one genre of music. Dusty Kid released techno, house, progressive, electro stuff all of amazing quality. He signed his tracks on labels such as Southern Fried, Boxer Recordings, Rebirth, Armada Music, Systematics Recordings, Kling Klong, Craft Music, Bpitch Control and many more.

After several months “Bolero” has been played as secret weapon by Noir, this mesmerising techno bomb is finally out. You can find it in all digital stores and even on a limited vinyl-press release.

It will be in my next podcast for sure!

The German duo Motocitysoul produced another great house quality track.

Composed by Matthias Vogt (member of the [re:jazz] band) and C-Rock the duo has achieved lots of success and approval. They had released tracks under several good labels as Dessous, Rebirth, Suara, Liebe Detail, Cocoon, Tsuba and Ibadan. They have collaborated with artists such as Roman Fluegel, Satoshi Tomiie, Solomun and Deetron.

My favourite version is the original mix. It’s a solid track with a heavy kick, a powerful bassline and a chill-break flavoured with some old-style rhodes. A 9 minutes long deep pleasure that will cheer your day up.

Enjoy!

Here I am! My latest suggestion is a free delivery from one of the most well liked producers at the moment, Tapesh.

The Dusseldorf-based artist has signed tracks with lots of great labels of the electronic panorama. We can remember “Time After Time” Ep released on Get Physical, “When We Were Young” on Noir Music, “All I Need” on Remote Area and “Gansta Shit” featured in “All Gone Pete Tong & Reboot Future Sounds” on Defected.

This track is a remake of DeMarzo’s “Untouchable”. Tapesh added a stronger 909 kick and a big synth with a cut-off effect.

If you want to DOWNLOAD IT FOR FREE you just need to go to his Soundcloud profile.

Remember to like his Facebook page too and enjoy the music!

This is my December selection. I wish you a very merry Christmas!

I’ll give a quick review of the tracks I played.

I started my podcast with the new Claptone’s rocket track on Exploided. A solid record with a lot of electronic influences and a huge kick. Then I played “AEM” by David Labeij on Nick Curly’s label, 8bit, characterized by a big synth bass and intense breakdowns.

I continued with the brand new single of Stefano Ritteri aka Solo on the legendary Defected Records. This guy is producing so much great music. He’s going to release a new Ep on the Berlin-based Exploided and another single on Defected Records. Keep an eye out on him.

After these fabulous tracks I rose the bet dropping the energetic Eats Everything’s Reruff of “Ruff Stuff”, contained in Ghetto & Gardens Remixes Vol. 2, a collection of remixes of the great Justin Martin’s album. Following this absolute banger that will burst your dancefloor, you can listen to the excellent Chocolate Puma’s bootleg of the classic 90’s hardcore rave track “Playing With Knives” by Bizzare Inc. After 4 years they made it, you can finally download it for free from their Soundcloud profile just by paying with a tweet or like.

Next, as usual, I dropped a lot of tuneful records: Tube & Berger “Long Roads” remixed by Mario Ochoa, the new single of Scuba on Hotflush (this label was included as one of the top 20 labels on Resident Advisor’s Pool 2012) and the Locked Groove’s remake of one of my favourite records of this year, “The Giver” of Duke Dumont.

Finally I concluded my set with “Forget The Girl” by Route94, an unkown artist; they could be a famous producer under a secret name, who knows… The track has a lot of 90’s influences and it is fringed by a mellow female vocal. It’s available as free download from Fact Magazine’s Soundcloud profile, so grab it asap!

New pumping remix!

Today’s suggestion is the new track of Leeds’ producer Hot Since 82.

He released a lot of singles for awesome labels as Suara, Noir Music and Moda Black. His tunes have been included in highly rated compilations like “All Gone Pete Tong & Reboot Future Sounds” and “Deep Down and Defected”.

Lately, Hot Since 82 produced two remixes on the famed label Defected Records for first-class artists such as the brilliant Yousef and the piper of dance Pete Tong. He also remixed the latest single of the British band Friendly Fires “Why Don’t You”, which received a great approval and was played by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1.

This new record is a great remix of Shadow’s Child “So High” on Moda Black. I love the original but I prefer 82’s remix because it has more rhythm and power. He used the original vocals, synths and pads and then he added a huge electronic bassline and some odd effects which denote his futuristic style.

A funny thing about this Ep is that on the other side Shadow Child has remixed Hot Since 82’s “Knee Deep In Louise”, so they remixed each other on the same Ep.

Play it loud!

Cheers!

Maya Jane Coles’ upcoming Ep!
Since the British producer has released “What They Say”, she has been really busy with a packed calendar of shows and appearances all over the world. She has been playing in the best festivals and in the most important clubs of all the planet.
Despite her being on tour, Maya kept producing a lot of singles and remixes for famous artists like Florence + The Machine, Phil Kieran, and Franck Roger. She released a compilation with Heidi, Miss Kittin & Tini.
In 2012 she mixed the compilation “Dj-Kicks Series” on the acclaimed label K7 Records. It ranges over many music styles as deep-house, techno, house, pop, electronica and even contains some unpublished works.
The breakout star Maya Jane Coles is now ready to present the new Ep ”Easier To Hide”. which sets an approach of her debut album, coming out in 2013.
My favourite track is “Over”. It reflects her unique sound: melanonic melodies, a guitar riff you can’t get out of the loop, some peaceful pads and a mellow female vocal. The result is deep house record with an electronic pop sound. The single will be out on December 7th on I Am Me.
Curiosity: She designed the artwork by herself.
